Our Story
At the heart of Exclusive Charleston is an extraordinary trio of leaders: Kyle St. John, Dana Moore, and Dale Moffitt—each bringing unique expertise and a passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences.
The story began when Kyle joined Dale as Resident Manager at Villa Camilla Boutique Hotel in Panama. Dale had just become General Manager after serving as Senior Concierge and management team member aboard The World, Residences at Sea. Kyle, arriving from his role as Night Manager at Breckenridge Resort in Colorado, quickly became an indispensable partner. Together, they went on to open acclaimed properties including the Amaryllis Hotel in Malawi, the Lusaka Legacy Resort in Zambia, and the celebrated Iconic Santorini in Greece—recognized twice as the #1 Boutique Hotel Worldwide.
Dale went on to continue his leadership with Precise Hospitality Management, while Kyle advanced as the opening Assistant General Manager at The Loutrel in Charleston. Under his guidance, this boutique hotel achieved the #1 TripAdvisor ranking in Charleston. It was here that Kyle met Dana Moore, a natural partner in hospitality and cultural storytelling. Dana, one of Charleston’s most respected voices, serves as Vice President of the Charleston Tour Association and is a Certified Tour Guide and Palmetto Guild member. Her ability to weave the city’s history, charm, and hidden gems into immersive guest journeys makes her a sought-after guide and local authority.
Now united with Dale, Kyle and Dana lead Exclusive Charleston in curating private, personalized experiences that redefine luxury in one of America’s most storied cities.
